We are seeking expressions of interest from schools in Australia who would like to partner with the de Bono Institute as pilot schools.

To be considered in the first round, please e-mail (mail@debono.org) for an expression of interest form. The due date for expressions of interest is the 25th June 2010.

If you have any questions, or would like to discuss the commitment, involvement and project further, please do not hesitate to contact us on mail@debono.org

de Bono Institute releases programme that is key to providing an Educational Revolution

    1878-DBI-thinkplus-invite-edit1b

The de Bono Institute officially launches ThinkPlus – an innovative education project to revolutionise the teaching of thinking in Australia’s schools.

ThinkPlus is new. Really new. We need to take time to get our heads around the opportunity. The seed of ThinkPlus wasn’t even planted until the de Bono Institute had engaged in ten years of practical research, and many years of ‘real world’ practice and insight gained in education, industry and public affairs.

Our new website for ThinkPlus will go live tomorrow (Monday 3 May) - thinkplus www.thinkplus.info

    Happy New Year!

    Web_beachholiday

    Hello Everyone,

The team at de Bono Institute would like to wish you a very happy and successful New Year!

We have returned to work after our summer break of beach walks, swimming and barbeques revitalised and excited to continue sharing our stories on thinking, design, creativity and innovation.

In the next few days we will pick up where we left off in 2005, with the first articles continuing to discuss meetings and demystifying the Six Thinking Hats.

On another note, de Bono Institute will soon have a new home in Collingwood, Victoria, Australia.  Our new home will be revealed to you shortly.

We look forward to a great year and hope to have the opportunity to hear from you on our debonoblog!

    Best wishes,
    Kendra & Susan

Another Blogging Site - but we think it is different!

    Littlewriting

So everyone is into blogging! Well maybe not everyone, but many people who have something to say are! And that is many! We have too. That is, we have lots to say and that’s why we have introduced the de Bono blogging site. Oh! You don’t know what blogging is. See below to find out and then come back to the rest of our story.

You see we have lots to say about thinking, creativity and other such interesting subjects, but then you may have too! You may not agree with some of the concepts we propagate. On the other hand you may have experienced lots of successes with some of Edward de Bono’s thinking and creativity tools.

Let me first tell you something more about us, the de Bono Institute in Melbourne Australia. You may ask why is such an institute in Australia? It is way down under, isn’t it? Why is it not in New York or London?

    de Bono Institute Melbourne

    Citysm

In our last post, Susan told you how the de Bono Institute came about.  Now I would like to tell you what we do and how we do it.

We aim to help people to see the world differently through thinking. Thousands of companies, organisations and individuals, from multi-nationals to primary schools world-wide have benefited from thinking about thinking.

I am serious about it when I say thinking about thinking!

Advances in technology are transforming the way we learn, understand and do business. Our ability to think has become our most reliable, flexible and creative tool.

The de Bono Institute is dedicated to maximising thinking potential. We aim to inspire brave and creative ideas, helping people to think their way to a better future, through creativity, design and innovation.

You still think that I am not serious? Listen to what people interviewed by Radio Australia have to say.
